We are in the process of organizing a fundraiser on October 2, 2010 that will help us to support orphans and widows of the 1994 Genocide in Rwanda. Check out our "Up Coming Events" for more information on how you can be a part of this amazing evening.  We are also in the planning stages to build a new school in Kenya.  To see the children we will be helping and how you can be a part click on "Projects".
We are a non-profit organization that seeks to proved a hand up to the poor and disenfranchised people of Africa.  Our mission is to work directly with small rural communities to find ways to better and enrich their lives.  Education is an area that we are particularly focused on.  Education provides them with opportunities that would be lost to them otherwise.

We invite the people of the communities to identify areas of need that when met would significantly benefit the entire community.  Once these needs have been identified, we work with them to provide the funding necessary to complete the projects.  The community itself is required to contribute to the cost either by way of labor or financially if possible.

We feel this is a necessary component to provide them with a sense of ownership and pride.  when ever possible all supplies are purchased from within the community to help provide an economic boost to all who live and work there.

Schools
Desks, books, student supplies
School Uniforms
School fees for families that cannot afford to pay them
Clean drinking water
Livestock to provide additional household income
Seeds and tools for agricultural farming
Mosquito nets for the prevention of Malaria
Homes for orphans and widows
Fees for medical coverage
